It sounds like Page is an octave higher than usual for this opening.
Unique sound to this whole show, though.. bar gig. Page might be
using a different keyboard than usual. Back to the roots.

Someone is doing a *lot* of yelling in the pre-Nirvana section.
Bleeds through onto this matrix (dsbd/daud mix, eh.. Paul's employing
his AKG's off the sbd, right?). "Nirvana" at 3:19. Mike's solo
section at 4:06, and he's rather introspective, it seems. Melodious
but not funked-up. Trey lets out a "HEY! HEY!" during the "Charge"
section, when the trampolines are usually brought out on stage (the
crowd does NOT go wild during this section, so I'm not sure, yet, if
Brad brought out tramps). First shot at The Note at 5:28
is nailed flawlessly and jammed well around. Second shot at the Note
at 6:12, and Trey sustains it without blinking.

Nothing at 6:47. Trey didn't scream "boy" apparently (did I hear this
correctly? I'm not rewinding to check) but Man God and SHIT are
in here. WUDMTF segment snappy and funky. Page uses a groovy, milky
phaaty tone for his fills in this segment, at first. "Tramps" segment
begins at 9:01, but they aren't on the tramps. Trey rhythmically
chords along to Page's lead, and Mike tools around (no signals for the
tramps moves). Page's playing (using the Piano "effect" on the
keyboard) is good... but nothing remarkable.

Jam segment begins at 10:40 or so with a melodious lick or two from
Trey. Soon, it is just Trey noodling over light accompaniment from
Fish on the hi-hat (11:10). Trey teases Oye Como Va around 11:20
heavily. Mike comes in soon, lightly accompanying Trey's noodling.
Fish isn't doing too much in here. Groove mellowly moves forward. At
12:40, Fish comes in more strongly.. the groove picks up a bit.
Trey is just repeating some Oye Como-like chords in here, though.
Very slow moving jam segment at this point (13 mins).

Jam finally picks up around 14:35 with some excellent
accompaniment from Fish, Page and Mike of Trey's dedicated, melodious
leads. Very straightforward, typical closing YEM jam, though --
nothing remarkable in here -- until 15:40 when Trey dropped a few
octaves and almost began to chord BBFCFM! Decent closing jam and at
16:59, the b&d segment should have begun... but the closing jam was
sustained out a bit, and then, a DEAD STOP. No music at all. About
two seconds of nothing. Fish comes in with a wee bit of Mike, as if
to start a Bass and Drums segment.. but within seconds Trey begins to
vocal jam (17:26). Oh well.

Vocal jam is the typical 1996 emphasis on harmonizing (while making silly
vocal noises, of course). Doesn't last long. Trey RIPS > into Chalk
Dust at 19:34.

This was a decent YEM, excellent in parts, typical in others. About
as C+ of a YEM as they get, though, imo.
