Opening is well-played. The Notes are hit fine.
"Boy" at 5:05. Typically great WUDMTF segment. Page's
jamming is great.. no surprises in here at all. Trey
comes in jamming after the tramps segment at 9 mins or so
(early). He stays in the lower reaches of the 'doc for
the first minute... starts climbing out. Typical great
soloing from him in here, but nothing surprisingly intense
or stellar. The usual repetitive melodic play, intermixed
with serious Rock and Blues licks.. some nice trilling in
the last minute of the jam, with well-placed sustain.
Accompaniment is great. Bass and Drums early at 11:10 or
so. Mike and Fish are great in here, as usual. (if you
get the feeling that this YEM is run of the mill, you are
right on target...)
At 11:45, the final WUDMTF closing segment begins (this
was a short, upbeat YEM). Extremely dull YEM. Vocal jam
has some amusing DOo-doo stuff in the intro, though.. ;) A
great Doo-day from Fish at the end.. short vocal jam, and
short YEM. Curtis Loew starts up at 13:41.
