To recognize and celebrate the first 40 years, Phish.net presents “40 for 40” featuring curated selections by the Phish.net/Mockingbird community to highlight important aspects of the band’s history. Each Friday before the NYE weekend, we present 10 jams to enjoy that represent the depth of Phish’s incredible live improvisational performances across the decades
As part of the celebration of this incredible milestone, please contribute to Mbird during the “40 for 40” campaign to recognize the great resources and community that Phish.net provides and to support Mbird’s powerful grant-making work for music ed programs across the US currently totaling $2.4 MILLION. The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we're entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we've distributed over $2 million to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
